- When and how did you learn about Abraham-Hicks?
- I believe it was when I heard Esther in the first version of The Secret. I recognized her as the author of 'that book' Ask and It Is Given (which I then bought) .. just the way she spoke and her conviction (Abraham's conviction....) really impressed me and I wanted to learn more about what she was saying. She really didn't sound like anyone else on that film.
- What is your favorite Abraham Quote?
- I'll have to get back to you on that. Abraham has said so many good things!
- What is your occupation?
- My occupation is Joy-full Human Being ... and I often derive income from being a recovery room nurse, a reiki therapist, a channel, an author and an intuitive reader.
- How did your spiritual path start and how long have you been on it?
- Wow, I remember way back in college (eek) 1980... 1981, my wrestling coach boyfriend teaching me about visualizing and he got me to read Maxwell Maltz "PsychoCybernetics". I always seemed to be reading positive books and I enjoyed Shakti Gawain, Wayne Dyer, and Sanaya Roman, authors like that. I saw Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer and Deepak Chopra speak in 1992 in Denver, I didn't even really know who Louise Hay was then! I used to attend and then volunteer at Tony Robbins Firewalk seminars and went to Mastery in Cancun in ... was that 1993? So you see, I've been a self help weirdo since way back! LOL! 1999 was when I first was attuned to reiki energy and my awareness *really* started strengthening then, and now I just started qi gong and it is even more wonder-full! Life is an adventure!
- What inspires you?
- God's creations .. inspire me. There is nothing more awe inspiring and beautiful than a gorgeous sunset, a stately mountain range, the ocean energy, and dolphins are obviously amazing to me.... Children inspire me, too. Their energy is beautiful.
- Tell us more about yourself!
- I am a single woman in my mid forties. I like meetup events where I meet other like minded people. I enjoy snorkeling, travel, seminars, drumming circles, writing, meditation, qi gong, cooking, and encouraging others. I'm an uplifter, like so many of you. I'm also very interested in alternative and chinese medicine. (Western medicine outside of surgery doesn't .. vibe with me so much anymore.)
